This was the album that was responsible for the unity of the original members of the clan. This means all of the 9 members and their 1073 affiliates! All of them have completely unique talents and probably the only thing that this album lacked was the lack of enough breathing space to the clans! It still set the standards high enough to make the other rap artists “suffer” if you may!

#3 – The Notorious B.I.G. – Ready to Die

Let us start with the best songs on this album, which were responsible for the resounding hits to follow. These tracks were Juicy, Big Poppa, Ready to Die, and Unbelievable. Biggie has a very crisp voice and the flow seems to be very structured one of a kind until this day. Also the fact that the way he delivers is completely distinct which is perhaps what caught the audience!

Public Enemy is a combination of Chuck D, Professor Griff, Flavor Flav, Bill Stephenney, and Terminator X. Their initial album, Yo! Bum Rush the Show, wasn’t as big of a hit as “It takes a nation of millions to hold us back”. Basically through this album the rappers challenged everything that the Blacks are challenged by!
